Ingredients:
½ pound ground beef (80/20)
salt and black pepper to taste
granulated garlic to taste
Creole seasoning to taste
¾ cup cooked French fries
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (5-inch) hamburger bun
thinly sliced red onion to dress
shredded lettuce to dress
1 tomato slice
3 pickle chips
Method:
Season ground beef to taste with salt, pepper and granulated garlic then form into 1 large hamburger patty. Season both sides of hamburger with Creole seasoning and set aside. Clean and lightly oil grill then heat to a minimum of 400°F. Grill hamburger to desired doneness, turning occasionally. NOTE: The USDA recommends using a food thermometer and cooking the hamburger to a 160°F internal temperature. Cover cooked hamburger with French fries and top with cheese. Allow hamburger to remain on grill until cheese begins to melt. Remove from grill and set aside. Toast bun on grill or in a toaster oven. Remove from grill and place bun on a serving plate. Place hamburger and cheese fries on the bottom bun and top with red onion. Dress the top bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle and your choice of condiments. Serve with your favorite side.
